Notice is hereby given that the Town of Swan's Island will receive sealed Bids for the paving of town roads. Bid packages are available from the Town of Swan's Island, P.O. Box 11, Swan's Island, ME 04685. Tel: 526-4279 Fax: 526-4172. Email: swansisle@tdstelme.net
Bids will be accepted by the Town until 7:15 P.M., Thursday, April 13th, 2017, at the Swan's Island Town Office, and then publicly opened and read aloud. The Selectmen reserve the right to reject any and all bids if it is judged to be in the Town's best interest.
A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference is scheduled for Friday, April 7th, 2017, at 11:45 A.M. at the Swan's Island Ferry Terminal and then visiting the various construction sites to discuss scope of services, terms of this contract and scheduling of work. Contractors who wish to be considered for acceptance must attend the scheduled pre-bid conference.
