The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (MDIFW) is conducting a competitive bid process for the Schoodic Lake Dock Reconstruction project in Lake View Plantation, Maine. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Bureau of General Services office, 4th Floor, Cross State Office Building, 111 Sewall Street, Augusta, Maine at [font=font36821]2:00 p.m.[/font] on [font=font36821]July 20, 2017.[/font]
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the boat launch site on[font=font36821] July 6, 2017[/font] at [font=font36821]10:00 a.m.[/font]
The project consists of removal of an existing dock and associated timber and stone rubble. The work also includes construction of a 26-foot concrete approach, 20-foot wood frame walkway, and 14-foot x 20-foot wooden dock on existing cribwork.
