is submitting an application to the Maine Board of Emergency Medical Services to change its permit level from Advanced EMT to Paramedic with a primary service area of Carmel, Newburgh, Dixmont, Etna, and Levant. Carmel Ambulance will respond to any and all types of medical emergencies when requested by calling 911, if the service is designated as the 911 provider by that municipality. Carmel Ambulance will be the transporting ambulance service. The public is invited to make comment regarding the proposed application and the comments must be received by the Board of Emergency Medical Services within 30 calendar days of the publication of this notice. Comments must be mailed to Maine EMS, 152 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0152.
