Separate sealed BIDS for PICKERING SQUARE PARKING GARAGE, ENTRANCE ALTERATIONS will be received by the Owner at the Purchasing Department, 73 Harlow Street, Bangor, Maine until 2:00 P.M. local time September 12, 2018, and then at the said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Scope of Work Summary:
Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for the Entrance Alterations at Pickering Square Parking Garage. Work includes
Demolition of existing utilities, waiting area, bathrooms.
Demolition of miscellaneous garage elements.
Demolition of concrete foundations, concrete sidewalks/curbs and masonry walls.
Demolition of concrete slab on grade, asphalt pavement including soil removal.
Installation of HVAC, mechanical, data cable, electrical and lighting systems.
Soil improvements, grading and installation of asphalt pavement, curbing.
Installation of security fencing, roll up security gates and new door.
Installation of new cast-in-place concrete islands, sidewalks and curbs.
Cast-in-place concrete back-up wall with masonry façade and precast cap.
Minimum bidder qualifications include five years of documented experience with projects of similar scope and size. Submit qualifications and five references with bid.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the parking garage office.
A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the value of the work are required.
