This is to notify you that Hammond Ridge Development Company, LLC has filed a zoning petition with the Maine Land Use Planning Commission, pursuant to provisions of 12 M.R.S.A. Section 685-A(8-A), to rezone 26 acres of land located in T1 R8 WELS, Maine from its present General Management Subdistrict (M-GN) designation to General Development Subdistrict (D-GN) for purposes of constructing an Operations Center and Event Center. The Operations Center will be the entrance facility supporting all future Hammond Ridge developments. The Event Center will be a venue for hosting weddings, business events, holiday celebrations and more centered around the scenic resources available to Hammond Ridge.
The petition will be filed for public inspection at the Maine Land Use Planning Commission's (LUPC) East Millinocket Office on September 10, 2018.
Written comments from interested persons should be sent to the Maine Land Use Planning Commission address below and must be received by the Commission in a timely manner.
Requests for a public hearing must be submitted in writing and must be received by the Commission in a timely manner. Requests for a public hearing must clearly state the reasons for why a public hearing is warranted on this project.
