The Board of Directors of RSU 34 is seeking sealed bids for pupil transportation services for five years commencing with the 2017-18 school year.
All bids must be submitted on official bid forms, sealed and labeled "Proposal for School Transportation Services", and be delivered to the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, Regional School Unit 34, 156 Oak Street, Old Town, Maine 04468 on Thursday, April 13, 2017 no later than 12:00 PM.
Bid documents may be obtained from Superintendent David Walker at the above address between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. Monday -Friday, (207-827-7171). A copy of the proposal specifications may also be obtained at the School Department's web site http://www.rsu34.org. Each vendor is responsible for insuring that an email address is filed with the Superintendent's office. Any and all correspondence including questions and addendums between vendors and the Office of the Superintendent will be done by email.
The Board at its sole discretion to waive any informality in any bid, to reject any or all bids, wholly or in part, to call for re-bids, to negotiate with any bidder, or to accept any bid even if that bid is not the lowest, if the Board deems it to be in the best interest of RSU 34.
